In the majority of men, there is usually no or little pain after a recovery from a routine, uneventful vasectomy.  Infrequently there can be significant pain which usually resolves with time.  On very rare occasions, some men experience severe pain that can be quite disabling and persistent.  This site will briefly address the possible causes of this severe pain and pros and cons of some of the more common treatment options.  This information is not intended to replace discussions with your doctors.  Rather, this information should be used to provide a foundation of information for intelligent and informed discussions with your doctors about your particular situation.
